Visitors with HHA membership or those visiting with the NGS should still pre-book their visit if possible through the office: email@example.com
Should visitors wish to visit the tearooms prior to a tour, they should allow at least an hour.
We are requesting that all visitors pay by card for admissions to the gardens and house, and for all purchases at the tea rooms.
Unfortunately we cannot admit dogs to the gardens except guide dogs. Dogs are welcome on the Woodlands Walks and in the general picnic area near the visitors’ car park.
Disability access – the gardens have well formed paths and are generally accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The house tour covers two floors and there are also steps between many of the rooms. It is therefore not suited to anyone with severe mobility problems. The tearoom has good disability access; there is also a disabled car park immediately alongside the tearoom.
The tea rooms are open to visitors but may have a reduced selection of cakes and edibles on offer as we adapt to the new regulations. There also may be very limited seating available. Thank you for your understanding.
We are really excited to be able to open our beautiful gardens to visitors once more. However, inevitably the team are feeling their way in light of government guidance and there may be a few teething problems. Please can we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. If you have any concerns or any issues, please do contact the office and we will do our best to help you. All feedback is welcome so we can make the visitor experience as enjoyable as possible.
